Good news! ShoppingBoss.com does not sell personal information. We only collect information needed to create an account, and our communication to you and data made available to you is solely focused on usage of that account. Any information provided is to protect consumers by attempting to the greatest extent possible, to restrict account creation to the legitimate person creating that account. To do this, we collect your name, email, address, and an initial credit card which we validate through credit card processing for validity, but we do not store this information beyond the last four digits of the card and encrypt the information so you can use that same purchasing method later. This information can be modified in your account profile, and accounts can be deleted by sending a request to support@shoppingboss.com or by hitting “cancel” in your account profile. In some cases, you may be asked to provide a birthday, last four of social security, and answer security questions to create an account. We do not store or use that data. The verficiation process is handled by a third party identity validation service, and is not accessible to us. We recieve a pass/fail response. We do not track individual visits to our sites, and we do not track browsing history or any of that stuff. We just log what you buy from us so that you can see that record. We’ve made some updates to our privacy policy linked below, but we have never, and have no intention to ever, sell personally identifiable information. We wouldn’t want anyone to do that to us!
